About the role
We are looking for a commercially driven sales leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to help shape our go-to-market efforts from the ground up. As we scale, we need someone who is comfortable operating in a hands-on role, building early customer relationships, and refining our sales strategy. You’ll work closely with our founding team, especially our CEO, to accelerate traction and guide the commercial development of our business. We expect you to grow into a VP Sales Global role.
This role is ideal for someone who is energized by early-stage environments, enjoys both strategic and operational challenges, and is looking to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, with a focus on larger mid-market organizations
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to set targets and share insights from the field
- Define and iterate on our sales strategy, including playbooks, outreach, and pipeline development
- Operate as our initial sales lead (individual contributor), while exploring what works best in our market
- Represent Verify with customers, partners, and at relevant industry events
- Explore and test different sales channels and outreach approaches
- Identify new business opportunities and help shape strategies to address them
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product and roadmap decisions
Capabilities
- Demonstrated success in sales roles, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Experienced in consultative sales preferably in SaaS
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structure from scratch
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions to varied stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial spirit, ideally with experience in early-stage or fast-growing companies
Nice to haves
- Experience in B2B SaaS
- A network in mid-sized or enterprise organizations
- Past experience in founding or building a startup
- Experience with Hubspot
