Verify release notes Q1 2026

Export projects with general models linked

Assigning first expiring general model date to assets

Many organizations work with general models. These models sign off a general consent form which allows you to use the general model consent for all future projects without having the models to sign off different consent forms for each future project.

The general model consent form has its own expiry date which you have configured in the template. When creating a project you can set the expiration date for the project. But when using general models. Situations can occur where a general model consent expiry date is ending before the project date.

When exporting assets to the external DAM (eg Bynder, Lytho, Mediafiler) the earliest expiry date will be automatically assigned to the exported project assets.

Once you add a generic model to new project and the consent expiration date is ending before the project expiration date you will see a notification.

Verify integration for Mediafiler

Store Verify project assets in Mediafiler

You can now export your project assets directly to your Mediafiler library.
Assets will be send to the Mediafiler upload page. All exported Verify assets will be auto assigned the following fields in Mediafiler:  start date consent, expiration date consent, link to the digital consent page and monitoring results, project name, model names.

When assets are expired or revoked Verify will automatically block these assets in your Mediafiler library.

In Verify as a project manager just select your project assets and use the export to Mediafiler button to send the assets to your Mediafiler upload control page.

Auto assigning Alt texts when uploading assets in Verify

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are an internationally recognized set of recommendations to make websites and digital content more accessible, especially for people with disabilities. In Europe, WCAG is enforced through laws like the European Accessibility Act and the Web Accessibility Directive.

All governmental and educational organisations in the EU need to obey the WCAG legislation. The WCAG states that all informative images placed on websites should contain a brief alt text description of what can be seen in the image (max 125 characters).

When uploading assets to your Verify AI will automatically populate the ‘alt text’ field, with a brief description of what can be seen in the image. If required the uploader in Verify can edit this text field to make changes.

In this way Verify will make sure that images are automatically populated with the required ‘alt text’. This helps your content team to auto comply to the WCAG legislation from the start of the process.

Asset cropping in Verify

It is possible to make a crop of an image and save or download this crop in Verify.
In this way the content and social team can easily create a crop out of an image in the Verify library and can directly download and use the crop for the respective campaign.

As an user with the asset edit right in Verify, you now have the crop function on the asset detail page. You can set and manage your required crop presets for social media channels and websites or just select the height and width of the crop yourself.

Project upload notification mail

As a project manager in Verify you will now receive a notification email, once the photographers have uploaded a batch of new assets in your project(s). In this way you are proactively alerted when the photos are uploaded, so you can manage the consent and publish these assets to the Verify media library or external DAM.

Download formats for assets

As a Verify administrator you now have the ability to set download formats presets. In this way you can set the download formats that are required for your different channels (socials and websites). High res images will automatically scaled back to the required presets.

In the settings you can add and manage the required presets. Click on ‘Presets’, ‘Download presets’ and the ‘Add preset’ button.

When users want to download the selected assets they can easily select the required formats they want to download the assets.

Consent purposes and mediums

In the digital consent forms for the use of images, organizations state the purposes for which images of data subjects may be used by the organization. Examples of purposes that are being used by organizations: Educational marketing, Employer branding, External branding, Internal branding, One time photoshoot, Science communication etc. Verify customers can set and manage these purposes themselves in Verify. For each project, it is indicated for which purposes the images taken may be used, so that this is also automatically stated on the digital consent form.

If a Verify user wants to download an image from the image bank (DAM) that has permission linked to it for specific purposes for image use, the user will not receive a notification that this image may only be used for specific purposes.

This can lead to situations where, for example, images intended for Science communication are used in External Branding publications while this is not permitted.

Customers would like to see users informed of the specific purposes for which the selected images may be used when downloading. This prevents the chance of incorrect use in advance and save customers manual work afterwards to correct this.

As soon as users select and download images with linked consent purposes in the Verify image bank, a popup appears informing users for which purposes these images may be used.

You can also easily filter on these purposes in the Verify image bank.

Share collections in Verify

Many organizations still use separate tools, such as file transfer services, to share visual assets on an ad hoc basis with external parties like advertising agencies and partners. This often requires downloading files and uploading them again in another tool, which takes extra time and can lead to duplicate files.

How to share assets from Verify
You can now easily share your collection by clicking on the ‘Share’ icon.
The collection page will be shared and will update automatically once assets are added or removed from the collection.

Now a popup appears see the screenshot below.

Here you have the following options:

  1. Enter a name for your share link page (required)
  2. Enter a description for your share (optional)
  3. Select an expiration date for your share (required)
  4. Enter a security code, so only users who will receive this code can view the content in this share page (optional)
  5. Email address for downloading toggle, in case you toggle this on external users and click on download button to download assets from the share page, will see a popup and need to fill in their email address before the download will start. In this way you can see who is downloading and spreading which files online. (optional)
  6. Create share link button, so you can create a share page link which you can then copy and paste in your own website or email. (optional)
  7. Enter the email addresses of the external users and click send, here Verify will automatically send these user a notification email with the share link and the security code (optional)

Downloading assets from a Verify share page

The external stakeholders (media agency, partners) will receive a notification email for the shared Verify Assets. This email will include a button with the link to open the share page and the security code (optional).

The external stakeholder can click on the ‘View shared files’ button in the mail, now the share page will appear in your browser. Here you will need to enter the security code to see the content. This step is optional only appears when using the security code.

On the share page the external users will see the content (name and description) and the shared assets. They can view and select which assets they want to download here.

Set publication dates and watermarking

Consent related project assets most often hold expiry dates. Once project assets are expired these assets will be unavailable to users in the Verify Library, in share pages and in the external DAM system connected to Verify.

These assets are only visible for admins in Verify. We now added a digital watermark to expired and revoked assets. They will be updated with the status ‘unavailable’ and a visual watermark is added to image the previews in Verify. In this way it is more clear for administrators that these assets are unavailable for use.

For non consent assets it is now also possible to assign a publication period. This feature helps customers in cases where marketing teams work with preliminary visuals for new products that will be published next year January to the larger internal audience.

As an admin with asset approval rights, you can select your assets and assign a publication period to your assets in Verify.

During the unavailability period of the assets, these assets won’t be available to users and admin can only see the visual watermarked assets.

As an admin you can also filter on unavailable assets in the Verify Media Library.
